An early C19th polished steel log turner.  The top of the shaft is in the form of a crook leading to a 5″ twist. The remainder of the shaft is plain down to the point, set at 90 degrees.  Used in an open fire to turn the logs.  In good, clean but original condition and ready to use or display. This will look great in an inglenook fireplace.
